More Than Wanted

This song is actually called Wanted on the album, but it is great. One of my favorites!

I really love the honesty of her voice... you erally feel her emotion. Amazing.

i love vanessa's songs....and i feel most of them are about wanting something u can't have..like a person u love..this song feels like its about a guy u've met u really like and he's saying u likes u to ..but u know he does'nt REALLY mean it and he does'nt feel as strongly as u do....

This song is so true...People are more than you see. I love this whole album...every song on it is just so powerful.

This song has only a piano and Vanessa's voice for the pure reason that it's intensely powerful. It's about a someone feeling love (or friendship) for someone, but that someone doesn't fully realize or appreciate just how wonderful and special their admirer really is. Vanessa sings it with such passion, so raw that you totally feel the mood of this song: vulnerable hurt mixed in with anger. Brilliant!

she's saying that she thought this guy was good, and could be good for her, but he just doesn't comprehend or see how good she is. he's aloof and blind to her, and unwilling to work to see who she really is. that's my take.

I think what she is saying is she likes a certain someone. They dont notice her though because maybe the outside isnt the best looking. And he will never know what she really has, which is a lot more than looks. Its like the feeling like your trapped in a body that no one can seem to get past and look at the real you. Well..thats what I think. This is a another great song!

This song is about the person she's singing to not really apreciating her. What makes me laugh is the "You don't really hear what I say" because that is true with so many musicians on how posuers and such don't even listen to the lyrics to understand the song's meaning (such with Anti-Flag's "Captain Anarchy" heheheh...You might THINK its an anthem about the joys of no government, but...well, I won't spoil it for those of you who haven't heard it). Anyway, this is about being better than what they think. She could, for all we know, be talking to us, the fans. Who knows. Anyway, I really love how powerful this song is. It really speaks to me and gives me that sense of power of "Hey, I AM good!". Its a very good uplifting song to raise your self-esteem. Awesome song, with the BEST piano in the album, I think. Stupendis. Very mad, and very good to raise your self-image. You can see that you ARE good, even if they can't see it because they are full of shit and are shallow. Whoo! Another hit from Nessa! (this song shouldn't have a video, but if it did, only her performance would sufice)

There was a man (who is now a soap opera star who will remain unnamed...damn, I want to know who it is!) who was gay. He lived right by her. She used her 'gaydar' and knew he was gay, definitely. But anyway, he heard her play piano and decided he better start flirting (by poking her thigh o_O;; ) so he could go out with her before she was so famous. Hence the line 'And I know, I know You like the way you feel when I play I know, I know You don't really hear what I say'
