Red Ditty

This song is very fun and such. It has a little up-beat feeling to it, though we all know its about a girl who is sick of her controlling partner :P Its basically saying "Hey, I'm sick of this, I'm getting out, whether or not you care" ^_^ This song gives me a very "Girl powah!" feeling, lol.

Yep, this song is pretty clear in meaning: "I want out, and I'll do it--you know I will!" :) I think the "Would that be okay?" riff is absolute irony, like she's taunting the guy to try and get him to object, but she'd leave in any case.

I never got that vibe, with the "If I love you without reference to occasion..." but I'm not too good at song meanings anyway.

I think she is questioning someone to see if they accept her for who she is and if they will or will not judge her for her decicions.

I really wish she had put this on the album also--she has so much emotion in it. I feel like this sometimes with people who get on my nerves. They make a big deal of something, and I just want to leave.
