This song is actually in memory of one of the band members father,Thomas Youngblood Sr. or something. Anyone out there that listens to kamelot?
Yes. I read an interview with Youngblood that mentioned it, and I recall that he said that the lyrics don't reflect the way he feels exactly, but it's a start to opening up, or something like that.
I just started getting into Kamelot, so I don't know much about them, but I enjoy their songs a lot. This one in particular. I listen to it whenever I'm feeling down.

The song is something Youngblood wrote after the death of his father. It would seem that the verses are him speaking to his father and the chorus is the father's reply...
Anyone else heard the French version of this? It's absolutely gorgeous.....
There's no denying that this song is in memory of Youngblood's father, as he says so himself. What makes this song particularly powerful, though, is the fact that it can apply to any son that has lost their father. Possibly my all-time favorite song.
