Well... All Right Lyrics
Well all right - so I’m being foolish
well all right let people know
about the dreams and wishes you wish
in the night when lights are low
Well all right - well all right
we’ll live and love with all our might
well all right - well all right
our lifetime of love will be all right
Well, all right - so I'm going steady
it's all right when people say
that those foolish kids can’t be ready
for the love that comes their way
well all right let people know
about the dreams and wishes you wish
in the night when lights are low
we’ll live and love with all our might
well all right - well all right
our lifetime of love will be all right
it's all right when people say
that those foolish kids can’t be ready
for the love that comes their way

Blind faith did a great version of this song.
Favorite Buddy Holly song. So much energy. I just love it. It's about following your heart when it comes to love, no matter what anybody else says.
I think the first time I heard Well All Right was when it was the closing song on the soundtrack to a film about early Rock n Roll. The end of the film gives updates on the stars of early RnR and the fates that befell them. The song has an elegiac quality, as is, but hearing it that way the first time really drove that point home for me. (What was the name of that film?)
Off topic: When we talk about or read about other artists lamenting the early deaths of so many great artists with such potential and greatness seemingly ahead: Janis, Joni, Jim, Kurdt, etc etc...Buddy Holly never seems to be on those lists, but he should be. What a talent!
