This is a song about a relationship that's breaking up. About how a relationship can deteriorate although you don't want it to... and how you can still be with them but notice they're not into you anymore, and that although you still love them, there's no way to work it out. And when your beloved is drifting all you're left with is a "boring kind of anger" and sleeplessness because the person you still love is there but is not really there.
I do have to say I love this song. When I first heard it I wasn't into the whole industrial/darkwave persuasion of music, but the more I heard this song, the more I fell in love with it and the genre. So few words, yet so deep... "i miss you... although i´m lying right by your side" makes me think of a very haunted relationship...
