Yeah, pretty much it's about somebody to stop messing around and start making changes for the better, because life will be over any time it wants to be
I can totally feel Jason's pain here, this is a glimpse in how tormented he was, so ful of talent and hope and wisdom yet, he couldn't shake this feeling there's something wrong in the world, not something obvious, a bit like Neo, heh.
Similarly to others I think this song is about reaching that period in your life where you need to decide whether to live your life, or the life others choose for you.
The burn bridges and breathing down my neck suggest adults (or could be society) ... will you burn bridges by revolting against what they want you to be / do??
The shiny coffin line to me suggests that if you don't chose your own life, then might as well spend your life in a coffin as you aren't really "alive".
