i think gerti rouge was her best friend or something...i dunno.
"young girl" is about a gerti rouge, brody's childhood friend. if i remeber correctly gerti was sexually abused or something like that and this song talks about it. in some article brody talks about gerti's abuse and stuff adn how her mom didn't do anything about it.

it's a beautiful song, Brody Dale's voice is awesome and gives me the shivers.. anyhow yeah this song is about all that was said above, her childhood friend was raped by I think her dad, and her mom who was like even a psychologist didn't do anything about it... she eventually commited suicide.. :(

I read the same thing. The girl was raped by her father. I'm not sure that she committed suicide.
