Nobody's commented on this song?! Crazy people! haha! This song is different from the rest of Darren's stuff, but it has that great funky '80s get-up-off-your-ass-&-dance vibe that I just love. ^-^
It was so smartly written, and has such an 80s vibe...so underrated as most Darren's work.
Good call Gabigs. His work is definately allll underrated. Especially here in Canada. No one knows about him anymore at all. Such a shame. Anyways, this song is awesome! I've always loved it, since the first time I ever heard it. I think it's just such a creative and expressive song. Listing some great memories, inspirations, and hilarious fads which are a part of growing up...
Yeah, nobody knows him in Argentina either...when I talk to people about him they stare and me and say "who?"...But I don't care...I mean, thank God we have internet nowadays, if it wasn't then I wouldn't know how to keep in touch with his work. I only wish he can get on making albums despite the fact of not being massive anymore (makes me so mad, he's the best singer I've ever heard!).

lol well people HAVE heard of him here in Austalia, but after all we can claim him as our own, him growing up in brisbane and all that. however i agree with everyone in syaing that he is totally underrated. when savage garden together everyone here lvoed him, now they just dont care. yet he still continues to produce good music... shame really

i really like fact that he mentions a great singers too.. Cindy lauper, jackson, and of course a great singer too...simon le bom from Duran Duran...i really love simon and Darren ...lol...this song is amazin !!!
I love Darren songs, I don't like this beat that much though. But I get the idea, is supposed to ressemble the 80's, and is actually one of Darren's faves from this album
