I think this song is just telling the story of a boy and a girl who fell in love with each other on a rainy December night. Only love can mend the pain that the boy feels, and that's what he's getting on this night.

there's a live version of this song that was recorded way before maladroit. it's so great...the way rivers sings it is beautiful.

Personally, I'm a big fan of Maladroit, and I'd suggest it if you're a Weezer fan.

yes, i am a big weezer fan but there were a few songs on the Green album that i didnt like and that isnt usual. I questioned getting maladroit but i'm getting it tomorrow. this song rules tho. most of their songs do. i love rivers and i totally agree with i luv u rivers.

this song is strangly close to the week me and my gf got together it was december we walked in the rain where we kissed for the first time. Only love could ease the pain of a boy caught in the rain.

this song kinda sounds like beach boys like the harmony of the singing and stuff....its cool.
