Angel and I Lyrics

Looking back, on all the times we strained to have, vacant eyes, a sometimes smile. Thinking back, on all the things we almost did, I hope you had a good time.
Angel, ever divine, you’ll never be mine.
About the pictures, that we hardly took, hope they come out alright.
Regarding the ring, you always talked about, I’m sure it’ll fit you just fine.
Angel, ever divine, you’ll never be mine.
Just one question, you never answered, you never learned.
Just one question, and your lips, never shaped the words.
Angel, ever divine, you’ll never be mine.
You’ll never be mine.

lmao, good one dude. This site is filled with emo. I don't have a problem with it, but I know a lot of these ghey users with emo in their s/n probably only heard Dashboard Confessional. Listen to the real shit: Sunny Day Real Estate, Mineral, Texas Is The Reason, Indian Summer, Rites Of Spring, etc. So much better than the current emo scene.

"Emo is much more a 'way' to listen to music and/or express yourselves."

I don't agree with that. I think maybe back then before it became an over-flooded genre, and all the bands had passion and real emotion, it was true. Not today though.

Angel and I is probably the best example of the musical direction Time Spent Driving has turned in. Much more fast-paced and pop-ish, its very catchy and much more special due to the fact that the band can change course so good. Angel and I is an excellent choice for an opening track. The lyrics seem to hit a more personal level which sometimes adds interest and depth into the track. The chorus stands out and adds excellence to the second verse after the band breaks down a very cool softer sound and drops right back to the chorus. Very cool jam. I really dig it as an opener.
