What a mess our lives turned out to be
It was at its best when you and I were only 3
We can start with all the things that turn us out
And we can go right down the list and throw them out

Can we start over?
It's over

Here you are and there's where you wanna be
But don't think you don't have company
Think of all the lonely people in the world
And if it's God who made us why we so damn cruel

We can never lie
And you can never steal the time
And we can only watch them die
And we can never find out why

I love this song. The lyrics are great. I heard "The Remedy" and I liked it, so I thought i'd try another one of their songs, and I liked it even more. This song is really good.

I love this song. I agree with you guys about starting over. There are those times where I wish I could take things back and start over, and do more of something to stop another thing. Like those times where I lost friends from either suicide or just because our friendship grew apart. I dedicate this song to those friends I've lost with Love and Respect.

if u were to watch the entire season of clone high, abandoned pools just so conveniently happen to be the band playing at the prom in the ast episode, and they play this song just as Abe realises he's in love with Joan and watnot (i'm not revealing the episode), but this whole song could be a message from Abe to Joan. oldversion.com ... get kazaa lite k++ and download the entire season of clone high (a few abandoned pools songs in there), well worth it too, not sure y it was cancelled..

i love clone high!!!! did it not continue after that, or was there another season? cause the last i saw was that prom episode (after i downloaded the first ..season..) .. so is that the end???? tear

Yeah, this song seems pretty straightforward.. feeling nostalgic about being young and having no worries!

"We can never lie And you can never steal the time And we can only watch them die And we can never find out why"

And dealing with the harsh realities!! You can't turn back time...and you have to deal with death in your life! sigh

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
