I personally think it's about ascending through the stars to Heaven. "The rain will fall tonight" symbolizes the tears at a funeral. And I see the smile on your face, when you look into space. He's so bright and he is so great" is going through space to Heaven and being so glad to see the beautiful face of the Lord. "The man will not go, and the world they have no fun" probably means the flesh cannot go to Heaven and stays on a planet that thinks it's having fun with sin but is really killing itself.

My Interpretation
