I think this song is basically about a guy trying to get people to see things from his point of view... but that's just me. But the way Pete's voice during the verses is hypnotic! I couldn't listen to that song while I was doing my homework, because everytime it started playing I just had to stop and listen! It's weird... >_>

This is an amazing song... It actually is my favorite from the new album... August 27th... I can hardly wait

The lyrics alone don't do the song justice - they aren't bad lyrics, not at all. But just my looking at the lyrics, the song seems like your usual bland, angry rock song of today.

Chevelle's talent strikes me speechless. They are absolutely amazing. In most bands today, it's hard to get any emotion. There's anger, but it always seems false and it feels as if it were created just to make the song appeal to hormonal, frusterated teenage boys. But this song is proof that an array of emotion can be portrayed in a song - and not just in vocals.

It's truly amazing when you can feel it in the guitars, the bass, the drums, and the way they combine. And Chevelle has that emotion packed into every little space it can be in the song. It's hard to find any other words to sum it up than 'absolutely amazing'.

I read in an interview that this song is about mosh pits, but I think alot more can be got out of it than that.

This song is so DA bomb of punk rock, or hard rock. I like the words along with the singers,lol. anyone who likes chevelle, linkin park, creed, pod... is welcome to talk to me ANYDAY. The others...well can kiss my ass...

I think this song means that he's made his mind up about something (not sure what) and there's no way anybody is going to stop him, so they better turn away and stop trying to persuay him because there's no way anybody can stop him...

who knows what it means....The only person who knows what it really means is the writer of this song...

this song seems to be about an arguement. i think the author starts out in revealing that he is always submissive, never has a voise or manages to stand up for himself. the chorus then, i feel, is a sort of inner urge to be strong, to desire to fight back because he feels that this particular agruement is his favor. the 2nd verse is sort of him reverting back to the part of him that just sits, listens and accepts the other person's slandering or accusations or complaints. the dynamics of the strong grow with his temper and loss of patience when he knows he's right. he screams "forfeit" because he feels it is obvious the other person has no valid excuse or way of winning.

great song great band...saw them live at the legendary HFStival in washington d.c. and this is the first song that i have ever fallen in the pit to...a sad day it was...newayz...great band!!!
