Cvalda (feat. Catherine Deneuve) Lyrics

Björk :
Clatter, crash, clack
Racket, bang, thump
Rattle, clang, crack, thud, whack, bam!

It's music
Now dance

Listen, Cvalda
You're the dancer
You got the sparkle
In your eyes
Look at me entrancer

Clatter, crash, clack
Racket, bang, thump
Rattle, clang, crack, thud, whack, bam!

It's the clatter machines
They greet you
And say
We tap out a rhythm
And sweep you away

A clatter machine
What a magical sound
A room full of noises
That spins you around

Catherine Deneuve :
Darling, Selma
Look who's dancing
Faster than a
Shooting star
Cvalda's here
Cvalda sings

Björk :
Clatter, crash, clack
Racket, bang, thump
Rattle, clang, crack, thud, whack, bam!

It's the clatter machines
They greet you
And say
We tap out a rhythm
And sweep you away

A clatter machine
What a magical sound
And full of noises
That spins us around
That spins us around
It spins us around

Dancer in the Dark is my favorite film of all time. This song is so joyous, youthful and invigorating. This is the only song on the soundtrack that I had to allow some time to grow on me... but I do so love it now, especially its sequence in the film. n_n

One of my favorite songs of all time. In a way, I feel just like Selma does about music. As long as its there, you can always find a reason to get happy or make yourself dance and sing. She's just telling Kathy what she hears and getting her to cut loose a bit. "Look at me, entrancer" Watch me, I'll show you how! And all this from the sound of a factory machine.
