Revolution Cry Lyrics
When passion takes on a purpose
and searching ones embrace the light
and skeptics find themselves down on their knees
You'll know it's here.
When you hear a sound as loud as thunder
and you hear a cry that shakes the ground beneath you
When you hear a shout that shatters the darkness
you'll know it's here
When the lost find a name we're believing in
and they're falling in back on to their feet again
and the broken start to dream again
and the sad of all fills these streets
you'll know it's here.
Chorus: Revolution can you feel it
revolution cry
revolution can you hear it
revolution cry
and I believe it
and I believe it
How long do we have to wait,
and how long will we stay silent?
and will this weeping generation dance again?
Oh God when will the truth be restored?
When the lost find a name we're believing in
and they're falling in back on to their feet again
and the broken start to dream again
and the sad of all fills these streets
you'll know it's here.
Chorus...
You'll know it's here.
Can you feel it?
Chorus
and I believe it
and searching ones embrace the light
and skeptics find themselves down on their knees
You'll know it's here.
When you hear a sound as loud as thunder

this is a great song. I don't think the lyrics are totally right though. I'm pretty sure it goes "When the lost find a name worth believing in" and also "And the sound of hope fills these streets"
I don't have Diff's Lucky Day (although I really wish I did), so I don't know the music to this, but the lyrics are beautiful. It's so simple, but the lyrics contain beautiful words and phrases. This is a nice song, I would like to have a chance to hear it sung.
this is such a beautiful song. the lyrics are sweet as and the music just fits them perfectly. its so weird but on both Diff's Lucky Day and No Name Face, the last songs are the sweetest. storm is another beautiful early song by lifehouse.
to 2manarmy: lifehouse (or blyss as they were known then) didnt make that many copies of Diff's Lucky Day and its a rare CD now but absolutely awesome.
There's an amazing version of this on lifehousefans.com, a tribute to September 11. Brought me to tears, it's so beautiful.
i have diffs lucky day, and its so awesome.. this song is one of my favorites... this is a great song and the lyrics are amazing.. all of it, is just, there are no words to describe!
this is a freaking awesome song.... i dont have the album but i downloaded it and its got soem freaking awesome songs and this is one on of them
I think this is one of Jason's real works of art. Definitely one of my favorite Lifehouse/Blyss songs, I have like 60 so that's saying something. Even if you haven't actually heard the song just the lyrics themselves are amazing. The first time I heard it I actually had to sit down and absorb it.
