She
She came down
From the mountain
And I
I stood my ground
On the mountain
Like a fire I'm drawn to her lust
I can't run from her but Lord I must
Like a demon I'm drawn to her flame
I'm gonna burn calling her name
I'm gonna burn calling her name
She
She came down
From the mountain
And I
I stood my ground
On the mountain
Like a fire I'm drawn to her lust
I can't run from her but Lord I must
Like a demon I'm drawn to her flame
I'm gonna burn calling her name
I'm gonna burn calling her name
She's got a sweetness about her
That I can't explain
She's got a wonderment about her
That I can't deny
And if we are patient
Then maybe we'll get it straight
On the mountain
Like a fire I'm drawn to her lust
I can't run from her but Lord I must
Like a demon I'm drawn to her flame
I'm gonna burn calling her name
I'm gonna burn calling her name
Oh I'll burn calling her name
She came down
From the mountain
And I
I stood my ground
On the mountain
I can't run from her but Lord I must
Like a demon I'm drawn to her flame
I'm gonna burn calling her name
I'm gonna burn calling her name
She came down
From the mountain
And I
I stood my ground
On the mountain
I can't run from her but Lord I must
Like a demon I'm drawn to her flame
I'm gonna burn calling her name
I'm gonna burn calling her name
That I can't explain
She's got a wonderment about her
That I can't deny
And if we are patient
Then maybe we'll get it straight
On the mountain
I can't run from her but Lord I must
Like a demon I'm drawn to her flame
I'm gonna burn calling her name
I'm gonna burn calling her name
Oh I'll burn calling her name

It's like "Wildfire"-but it rocks and is sexy.
It's a good song. It's clearly about someone who he cares for, but...he needs to stay the heck away from her.
Absolutely phenomenal song, I didn't think much of it at first, but on a second listen I took a liking to it.
It's got a heavy metaphoric kinda element, but it's about someone who's drawn uncontrollably to a girl, and she's going to be very bad for him. He tries to stand his ground but can't resist in the end.
i believe this song refers to a woman who is wild and restless that refuses to let her guard down every time a man falls for her. she finally comes down off her pedestal("she came down from the mountain") for this guy. when he says, "i stood my ground on the mountain"...i believe it refers to him not giving up on her. And the rest is pretty much right in front of us, he knows that even though she is letting him in, its most likely temporary due to her ways.
She's got a sweetness about her That I can't explain She's got a wonderment about her That I can't deny And if we are patient Then maybe we'll get it straight On the mountain
i think this is saying that he knows somewhere deep inside, she wants to change, because she means well but her inner wild child is hard to tame. so he's saying if we are patient we can come to a level ground and be high on love together..

Right now, I’m sitting in my truck on the Appalachian Trail listening to this song as I think [drink] about my addiction to alcohol.
To me, this song is about addiction and how we can only overcome it on the “mountain” that we think it comes from.
We must climb it; face it; and defeat it, lest it burns [kills or destroys] us.
i would be in awe if this were about me but its not. im use to it
go be with your appleleaichagilr and take her to the mountains again. I wish i cud go to the mounttans goodbye
