Comin' Back Lyrics
I know that I don't understand
The way my feeling's roam
I've got to look outside again
And wonder where I've gone
I looked into someone's eye's again
And it's been lost..so long
I never wanted to talk again
I tried to silence you
You keep coming back again
You keep coming back for more
And then you come back and haunt my mind
You try to make me look good
You know I just don't have the time
I never, ever understood
You keep coming back again
You keep coming back for more
You keep coming back again
You keep coming back for more
You keep coming back again
You keep coming back for more
You keep coming back again
You keep coming back for more
The way my feeling's roam
I've got to look outside again
And wonder where I've gone
I looked into someone's eye's again
And it's been lost..so long
I never wanted to talk again
I tried to silence you
You keep coming back for more
You try to make me look good
You know I just don't have the time
I never, ever understood
You keep coming back for more
You keep coming back again
You keep coming back for more
You keep coming back for more
You keep coming back again
You keep coming back for more

This is one of those all purpose songs, its great no matter what ur using.
I think it's about a hooker. She can't believe where she's gotten, but she still has desire, even though it will drag her down even further. Great song, but it's a little bit dark, or maybe sad.
This song feels waaaay dark to me... To me, it's about someone who's trying to overcome/ resist temptation, or it's like, they're selling their soul to the devil over and over again... It seems like this person does have a desire to be a better person and they keep trying to do the right thing, but whatever this thing is ("You") -- They can't resist it, and it "keeps comin' back again" - "comin' back for more".

I feel like this is song is about turning someone away that loves her, and no matter what she does or becomes, he keeps "coming back again". She doesn't know what to do with this unconditional love and she is afraid to surrender to that kind of love.
I was a poly drug addict for a number of years and the lyrics speak strongly to me of an addict trying to recover and the sensation of dependence pulling on them and the psychological struggle of relapse and the struggle to maintain cessation. And when she says "And then you come back and roam my mind You try to make me look good." Drugs can make you think you look good and sometimes they do. It is a real trap.
