All My Loving Lyrics
Close your eyes and I'll kiss you
Tomorrow I'll miss you
Remember I'll always be true
And then while I'm away
I'll write home every day
And I'll send all my loving to you
I'll pretend I am kissing
The lips I am missing
And hope that my dreams will come true
And then while I'm away
I'll write home every day
And I'll send all my loving to you
All my loving, I will send to you
All my loving, darling, I'll be true
Close your eyes and I'll kiss you
Tomorrow I'll miss you
Remember I'll always be true
And then while I'm away
I'll write home every day
And I'll send all my loving to you
All my loving, I will send to you
All my loving, darling, I'll be true
All my loving, I will send to you
Tomorrow I'll miss you
Remember I'll always be true
And then while I'm away
I'll write home every day
And I'll send all my loving to you
The lips I am missing
And hope that my dreams will come true
And then while I'm away
I'll write home every day
And I'll send all my loving to you
All my loving, darling, I'll be true
Tomorrow I'll miss you
Remember I'll always be true
And then while I'm away
I'll write home every day
And I'll send all my loving to you
All my loving, darling, I'll be true
All my loving, I will send to you

All My Loving was conceived as a poem by Paul one day as he was shaving. It wasn't until he'd finished his day's wor that he put music to it, initially imagining it as a country-and-western track. "It was the first ever track that I had had the lyrics before the music", said Paul.
right on, Livvy. the way I see it, the speaker in this song isn't so much brooding over how much he's going to miss his lover as much as he's reassuring his lover that he'll always be thinking of her. it kind of feels like a collection of sweet nothings you whisper into you lovers' ear before you're about to leave on a trip, "I'll write home every day" and stuff like that.
but when he says "I'll pretend that I'm kissing the lips I am missing", does he mean that he's going to be kissing other girls while he's away, and pretending that he's kissing her? I guess that's kind of sweet in a way...
i think he just thinks about him kissing her and than hopes his dreams will come true
I think this is a beautiful song. The opening line is my favorite - "Close your eyes and I'll kiss you." It's such a romantic thing to say, especially coming from somebody like Paul McCartney.
I love this song, especially how his voice sounds when he's singing "All my lovin' I will send to you." He's reassuring his lover that he'll always love her and be thinking of her, even if they are seperated for the time being.
to me it means that when they are away from home and leave girlfriends behind they miss them and think of them.and by pretending i am kissing....it means they wont cheat...thats my thought
this song is really great if you're in a long distance relationship it helps you remind that special someone how much they mean to you, no matter the distance it's great the beatles are great :]
This is a good song from their early days. It was the first song I learned to play on guitar.
true dat, only paul can pull this one off though.
Love this song. My mom used to sing it to me as a lullabye. It may sound odd, but I was never into the "Rock a Bye Baby" crap, even when I was little. :) Anyways, this song is so great. It's sad, but it's also happy and hopeful in a way. In a far-off, distant way. Go Beatles!! Yay!!
No...you're fucking with me...

Either that, or we have had very similar childhoods my friend. I never knew the name of this song, yet I knew every word, and as I was singing it today, I was told the name of it by a friend. As such, I have downloaded it, listened to it quite a few times, and then I looked it up, which led me here.
