Bak Et Halleluja Lyrics
Fader eg må be om unskyldning
Eg skal be for deg min sønn
men kom aldri tilbake for her er dine dager talte

http://www.kaizers-orchestra.de/lyrics/x_ompa_til.php#halleluja it's talking about his friend or brother, i believe who accidentally killed himself, and he is taking the blame. i dont know if theres more behind this song, but its intense
i freaking love this song. i first heard it on the war movie also. Heres the translations:
Bak Et halleluja Behind A hallelujah
Father I must ask forgiveness It's my fault that Tony's packed in a car cover I've broken Monsieur Clavier's regulations You know I can’t take care of him
I plead to you. Help, Father help me I'm standing in boots of concrete, Father help me I said, Russian roulette's not a good idea But he felt fine so he forced me along
I watched him spin the cylinder he put the barrel between his teeth I’ll pray for you my son
Cos by him you've not yet been judged Cos nobody can say no to the amount Monsieur Clavier gave And only Father martin knows what's behind a hallelujah Tony has a genuine double
Track him down, set up a contract, give him money You may take a handful out of our collection You may become as most people, or you may become a priest But never return cos your days here are numbered
heres their site too:

"Tony" is the same guy that played russian rullette in "Rullett", so it's probably about him.
Bak Et halleluja (Behind A hallelujah)

This song is linked with resistansen, rullet, Mr. Kaizer, and others. It is about Tony's brother confessing to the preist because he beleives the fact that Tony died from Russian Roulette is his fault.
Kaizers Orchestra are the "masters" when it comes to tell stories. the whole album "Ompa til du dør" is a story about a mob leader called Mr. Kaizer. Tony, the guy that died is the son of Mr. Kaizer. Monsieur Clavier is like the right hand of Mr. Kaizer and the guy that "sings" this song is like the "adoptive" child of Mr. Kaizers. Look at Dod Manns tango "Det vaer meg Dominique, som hadde ansvar for Tony Fusciante, din bror min kamerat" It means "it's me, Dominique, who has the answer for Tony Fusciante, your brother, my dear friend". If you want to know more, just write me ballad__man@hotmail.com
BTW all Kaizers songs are about the same background story.. like coheed and cambria.. On the newest album, Maestro, most songs are about a mental institution, on Kontroll På Kontinentet, most songs are about a mafia family and what the family members are up to, but there's also a side story about a guy called Marcelo Conradas who's a seafearing explorer. He dosen't really appear outside of the Kontroll På Kontinentet album though..

The album is not in chronological order, but it roughly follows one storyline. Marcello Conradas is the sailor in the songs Dekk Bord, Bøn fra Helvete, and Ompa til du Dør. The Mafia, run by Mr. Kaizer, often meets in Marcello’s cellar for drinks, music, and Russian roulette.
Bak et Halleluja is about Dominique, whose job was to protect Tony Fusciante. Tony decided to play Russian roulette (in Rullett) and died. Now, Dominique is in trouble and pleads to the mafia priest Father Martin to help him. Martin tells Dominique to find a double for Tony, run away, and start a new life. Though, in the end, Father Martin still tells Monsieur Clavier for the irresistible reward.
170 and Bris do not follow this storyline. They just describe two military stories. Perhaps those are related to the characters in the cellar, it’s not clear.
