Blind Dumb Deaf Lyrics

Blind dumb deafen offends
I was never a part of it
(x2)
At the bosom
Or the breast
Or the forehead
Or the fist

Blind dumb deafen offends
I was never a part of it
(x2)
My mouthing at you
My tongue the stake
I should welt should I hold you
I should gash should I kiss you

Blind dumb deafen offends
I was never a part of it
(x4)

Seems to be about turing a blind eye, deaf ear, etc. toward abuse in a relationship. This is definitely one of the best dark songs the CTs did.

I'm quite sure the lyrics here are "Blind dumb deaf, and I'll find" rather than "Blind dumb deafen offends."

Does anyone know if this song has anything to do with the story 'Deaf, Dumb and Blind,' by H. P. Lovecraft?

I think it's about Johnny Got His Gun by Dalton Trumbo, as is 'One' by Metallica. Go look it up.....
