Dead Souls (Joy Division cover) Lyrics
Someone take these dreams away
That point me to another day
A dual personality
A strange but true reality
They keep calling me
Keep on calling me
They keep calling me
Figures from the past stand tall
And mocking voices ring above
Imperialistic house of prayer
Conquistadors who took their share
They keep calling me
Keep on calling me
They keep calling me
That point me to another day
A dual personality
A strange but true reality
Keep on calling me
They keep calling me
And mocking voices ring above
Imperialistic house of prayer
Conquistadors who took their share
Keep on calling me
They keep calling me

This song is about telemarketers, because they keep calling Trent and he doesn't like them. Bad telemarketers!!
Hahahaha!
Hahahaha!
This is actually a remake of a Joy Division song. The lead singer of Joy Division killed himself and you can really see his despair in his lyrics. I think trent did a good job covering this song though the original has more despair in the vocals.
I love this song - the crow soundtrack is really one of the classics! I think this song is about feeling a calling from your past lives to the point where it's driving you a bit mad.
my favorite summer song :P really relaxing...my mom love it
okay, dark lyrics, your wrong and vince mcmahon, your so wrong i'm scared
this song was written by Ian Curtis, and, as with most of his lyrics, is about his day by day struggle with his epliepsy and suicidal nature.
Curtis often remakred and said that he wrote through other peoples eyes and wanted to write lyrics that could mean different things to everyone.
Dark Lyrics, your reading wayyyyyy to must into it, the song is just about a desperate call of help while they're slowly being pulled under. People take lyrics so literally nowdays.

He’s talking of another self he rejected, one who reaches for power, that is calling to him. “Figures from the past stand tall And mocking voices ring above Imperialistic house of prayer Conquistadors who took their share”
But he seems to want to be different…
This entire album reads as mortification (tons of calling out his bad behavior, shaming, and reaching for better..)
I was unaware that nin did a song on "The Crow" soundtrack and it keeps the usual NIN 'sound' brilliantly, :D
This one and the one by the cure are what makes the crow soundtrack so damn good. there's other good stuff, but those two are awsome.
you got that right, bandit8463! The Crow is my favorite movie. Lots of people think it sucked but I love it to death. Love the soundtrack too. The Cure and NIN are definitely the reason I got the soundtrack! don't talk to me about the sequels though.... lol... :)
I bougt the soundtrack before I saw the movie. Trent, Cure, and Jane Siberry rock my socks off. Brandon Lee does, also(on a sidenote... never EVER watch his movie Laser Mission.) Helixi, I never knew that.
