Tomorrow Started Lyrics
Don't look back until you've tried
A line so openly a lie
'Outside of you, it's just tomorrow starting'
I've said I'm wrong when I've been right
I've seen times when I've been sure but still I find
I'm just the first that you take
Are there reasons everybody pays
They never seem to be any use
It's just tomorrow starting
Don't look back until you've tried
With time you'll endlessly arrive
Outside of use
With just tomorrow starting
See my eyes tell me I'm not lying
I'm just the first that you take
Are there reasons everybody pays
They never seem to be any use
It's just tomorrow started
A line so openly a lie
'Outside of you, it's just tomorrow starting'
I've seen times when I've been sure but still I find
I'm just the first that you take
Are there reasons everybody pays
They never seem to be any use
With time you'll endlessly arrive
Outside of use
With just tomorrow starting
I'm just the first that you take
Are there reasons everybody pays
They never seem to be any use

Great song. No idea what it means. Maybe it's about the perils of procrastination. Putting off until tomorrow what needs to be done today.

@revolver314 Some of the words/lyrics here are wrong but.... It's about making plans or choices. He's saying they don't make much difference because you never know if they are right or wrong until after the fact - "dont' look back until you've tried". Everybody pays for making the wrong decisions/choices, but you cannot control what tomorrow brings so "They never seem to be any use". The "first that you take" is the decision/action you make (right or wrong) and "everybody pays" is the consequences of a wrong decision.

In short... Stop second-guessing your decisions. Time/chance will determine the outcome and if you will "pay" the consequences.

As someone else wrote on another lyrics site, I think the second line is... "a line so openly alive". It makes more sense with the rest of the interpretation - that tomorrow holds your destiny not your choices. The line (path) that history takes you, is open/alive in all it's unknown possibilities/outcomes. It's not predestined and you cannot control it.
