this song to me screams fatal love. everyone around notices how wrong it is but they just keep on loving, like it's the end of the world.

I think this song is describing two people who are so very diffrent but in a way the same, cause they are both complete wrecks. And its like they dont care, They are living there life like its the end of the world and dancing the night away ^_^
I'm not even sure they are lovers, maybe just people, who are enjoying themselves. just acting as young people do. dancing, taking drugs, not caring etc. I do know for sure though thats its one of my favourites. I love the chanting of baby, at the begining!

i don't think it's about love--not "real" love. i think it tends towards infatuation, a summer-fling type thing: a fast, intense relationship that happens against all odds, ignoring all differences, just unconditional love for a while... and then it ends. to me, that's the end it's talking about in the song.
na this is just a feel good song going on about teenage problems but its kinda saying just sod it and dance like its the end of the world
