I agree with what everyone else said about being insignificant in the world, but I don't think that's a negative thing. Christians believe humans are a "higher being" than anything else in the world. I think it is a wonderful thing to realize how awesome everything else in the world is. Like standing at the base of a mountain and reveling in it's beauty, but feeling like a tiny speck at the same time.
This song describes the single "working joe's" meaning to the worlds history. Absolutley nothing. We truly are Insignificant. And this song captures the feeling you get when you realize it perfectly.

Yup, We are all useless. This song kinda sparked an epiphany for me. "Holy colon. What do I mean to the rest of the world? Nothing..... just a speck in the spectrum, Insignificant, am I."

Just a small note, the lyrics to this song are incomplete. There's another verse after the 2nd chorus, and solo/lead. It reads as such:
The brother of sundown has bleached away my past to look into the sky, if only for one last time.
