Society is tough, especially when people expect so much from a person, but what eats me up, is when these same high and mighty expecting assholes build the society. Why can't someone just follow their own path without some nosy fuckers buttin' in?
I'm getting this song tattooed on my arm from "look at what..." to "i'm proud of just being me" is going to be a wrap-around on my upper arm with a "watercolor of fletcher's guitar behind it. just thought I'd let you people know.
plus this song is such a badass fuck off to parents (like mine) who don't think what you are doing is "up to par". so even though my pretty much don't care what I do now I will wear as a "badge of pride"
Something Wrong With Me is about being an outcast for being yourself. Others think your uncool, weird and rude, but you are truly the indivual, and there is nothing wrong with you
It could be about a disabled person who thinks it's unfair that people with handicapabilities (Thank you Jimmy Valmer from South Park for that term) have to go through red tape to get the rights that everyone else takes for granted. Their disabilities may make them different, but they have the same rights as you and me.
It's about liberals rising up and telling conservatives that their views are just as valid as conservative views, and about the bullshit that Muslims that aren't terrorists have to go through to prove they're not like those terrorists they like to lump them in with.
