Normally I would think that this song is ridiculous because Aerosmith was rich when they wrote this song, and they still are rich, so what right do they have to insult rich people? On the other hand, Aerosmith did not start our rich (YEARS ago) and has worked REAL hard to be where the are today and been through a lot of crap. I think they are dissing people who are BORN rich and go wasting their lives away and not contributing anything to the world, which is something I guess Aerosmith has a right to make fun of. So, uh rock on!

This is one of the greatest diss songs ever. What I love about it is how Steven constantly throws insults toward rich people. The lyrics are pretty funny if you read through them. It's just a song that completely rejects authority.
hey totaly agree with u u2elevation. This song kick ass, and the live-version on "little south of sanity" is even better. So much rock'n roll, humor and style in it that we must say, they did it again
I'm 16 years old, and Aerosmith has been my favorite band ever, since I can remember. I didn't like the lyrics to this song very much, but I loved the riffs, especially the opening riff.
@acetica FULLY AGREE!! I learned this song on guitar just because it was so much fun to play, but I have always begrudged how uninspired the lyrics were. The chorus is perfectly fine, but the words in each verse just feel like they were forced filler to get to the chorus again -- with a few money clichés and mixed metaphors.

I hate this song its just kind of strange I dont know why. I like the beginning part with that weird instrument and the end when there is a burp.
The drums on this are so strong. Kramer shows no mercy with this. Does anyone think this is a good song to get laid to? I do.
This is one of my favourite Aerosmith songs, I mean, compare this to Don't Want To Miss A Thing... Love the soundbite at the end too!
