I think it's talking about first love getting away. At least that's what I always thought it was anyway.

This is a cover. The original is from the Shangri-Las, a group of girls from the 60 i guess
eva_floyd is correct. It is a cover, but not really well made. It was the only single from Ruts. I think No surprize deserved to be a single.

This IS a Shangri-Las cover, but it was written by Shadow Morton!
That's a fine song, my preferred by Aerosmith, but the last strophe sung screaming sounded horrible. The remaining is great, especially the "Remember" parts.
