This song is about stupid people, and relating dealing with stupid people and assholes to being "caught in a mosh" where everything is confusion, elbows and stomping boots... the song isn't literally about being in a mosh, or moshing at all.
And to jp410, the Anger Burns thing is a different song entirely... Joey actually does sing "ooooooohhhh the best that you can do!" but it's high pitched and fast, so if you're not listening for it, you won't hear it. It's not unintelligible though. Well, not garbled nonsense anyway.

But yeah, it's about being stuck in an argument with an idiot. Like when you're in a mosh pit, you don't get anywhere, you keep being stuck in the same place.
I always attributed these lyrics to one of the mainstays of thrash metal: Disrespecting authority. Specifically, parents. I get so pissed off at my dad when I listen to this.

I love the bass line in this song. I have probibly been to 100 concerts in my life, and hearing this song live is still the highlight moment. While I think there were better metal bands, few ever wrote a better song.
True, but some wrote songs without resorting to repeating the words "caught in a mosh!" as a chorus.
