I really liked this song, probably because I feel the same way and I can relate to it right now. I need time to myself. I work hard in college and I don't get the time to do anything but study. I thought this was a great song.

Random trivia: there ended up being a few differences between the hand-written lyrics, and what was ultimately recorded. Most notibly here is the first verse, which was originally:

this sounds to me like kenna is trying to break out of a stifling relationship. all his is consumed by this one person, despite his best efforts to shut them out.

To me this song is about the diferences between humans and animals. Sometimes I'll try and take a walk to be alone, or do my own thing, or just go to the woods to pee and fucking humans are bloody everywhere!!! I don't ever really feel the need to have freetime from animals, but humans judge one another and wonder about one another,need things from eachother, even if they genuinlly care, it's still better sometimes just be able to walk around naked or have your stoned mind echo within it'self or just be an idiot without nosey-ass, needy-ass people all up in your shit! No offence to those of you who happen to be human, you understand
