This is such a great song and not one comment!!!! 12500+ songs in my itunes, so ran across this one tonight while I was on this website.
The song lyrics here are pretty straight forward, imo. Simply about a girl who thought her guy had very deep feelings for her, only to find out that he just wanted her for sex. She knows she deserves better, so she won't tolerate that kind of treatment. She would like to be with him still, but refuses until he has changed.
I agree with the above user. It's a great song, anyone (boys and girls) could so relate to this.
Sounds as if he is burnin' out in the heavens alone …. and I think it's gonna be a long long time. Nothing in the world is perfect and sometimes you can feel trapped but, honesty is the best policy and its better to say you'll TRY to do something so you don't fail to keep a promise that may be construed as a lie.
