I always thought this was Joe's attempt at a corporate sponsorship but, of course, he has to go and say "motherfuckers" throughout, kinda putting the kibosh on that. Awesome!
Also, I read in Heather King's book, Parched, (she's Joe's sister) that when they were growing up they used to call various things and people "queer" meaning stupid/geeky. That's where the band name came from. Nothing really to do with homosexuals.
