I agree with you goodriddance its about being in so much pain yet not wanting people too see. I think basically she longs for heaven she is in so much pain hence "another world rapped up inside another place". Describing somewhere that is free from pain. She is praying for her and others to heal and to get better.
This song is about wanting it all to end and not wanting that one special person to see you like that. You pray (and want) for everything to get better. I love this song so much.
