Cupid Come Lyrics
Cupid come from coffee cup
Sickly heavy heart
Semi-set adrift in your
Lifted sugar eye
Come back down I'm waiting here
And lick me with your fire
Connected silver tounges
Our lips beside
Everytime I look at you
Pins me to the ground
Mirror me your memories please
And let me help you down
Swallow me into your bed
With glimpses of your thighs
Forget your vanity
Come cupid come
Sickly heavy heart
Semi-set adrift in your
Lifted sugar eye
Come back down I'm waiting here
And lick me with your fire
Connected silver tounges
Our lips beside
Everytime I look at you
Pins me to the ground
Mirror me your memories please
And let me help you down
Swallow me into your bed
With glimpses of your thighs
Forget your vanity
Come cupid come

I've listened to this song and bootlegs of this songs hundreds of times. I actually wrote a book about MBV: Turn My Head Into Sound coming in a few months. The second line is 'sickly heavy high.' It's about something overwhelming you ingest, much like Strawberry Wine, from an anecdote by Roland Howard of the Birthday Party . Listen to any bootleg, listen to the album. 'heavy heart' is clumsy and not what Bilinda would every write. PLEASE correct it. Don't take my word. Find some bootlegs. Listen to the album, slowed down. 'Sickly Heavy High.' It bothers me because it's so clumsy, and goofy. 'Sickly Heavy High makes so much more sense, and is elegant. Bilinda is a better writer than what you have posted.
Nnnnnnyyyyyyooookay.
