Catch My Fall Lyrics
I have the time so I will sing yeah
I'm just a boy but I will win yeah
Lost song of lovers fellow travelers yeah
Leave me sad and hollow out of words
It could happen to you so think for yourself
[Chorus:]
If I should stumble
Catch my fall yeah
If I should stumble
Catch my fall
Catch my fall
If I should stumble
Catch my fall
If I should stumble
I've traveled and unwound my own truth yeah
I've laid my head on the rock of youth yeah
I've trusted and then broken my own word
Just to keep me free in this mad, mad world
It could happen to you so think for yourself
[Chorus]
It could happen to you so think for yourself
If I should stumble won't yoc catch my fall yeah
If I should stumble catch my fall yeah
If I should stumble would you catch my fall
If I should stumble catch my fall
I'm just a boy but I will win yeah
Lost song of lovers fellow travelers yeah
Leave me sad and hollow out of words
If I should stumble
Catch my fall yeah
If I should stumble
Catch my fall
Catch my fall
Catch my fall
If I should stumble
I've laid my head on the rock of youth yeah
I've trusted and then broken my own word
Just to keep me free in this mad, mad world
If I should stumble catch my fall yeah
If I should stumble would you catch my fall
If I should stumble catch my fall

Can't believe no-one has posted on this song!!!!! It is the best Billy Idol song ever. Sounds like someone struggling with a drug habit, saying he has lived a wild life but wants to go straight and asking for help "if I should stumble, catch my fall" and warning that it is easy to fall into that lifestyle "it could happen to you, so think for yourself". This song showcases what a great vocal range Billy Idol has. He's a big Elvis fan so I think he's trying out the Elvis voice with this song.
@gerimerrymuffin Yeah I hear you. I'm cool commenting 5 years later but this song has some incredibly written lyrics, great vocals and a killer bass line. Probably my favorite Idol tune next to "The Dead Next Door." I have a cd that contains he studio version and a rehearsal version that is very cool as well.
