T.N.T. For The Brain Lyrics
Feel your breath
You on my side
I couldn't resist
I hope I'll understand some day
What's the meaning of this crazy game
It is real and pure
T.N.T. for the brain
If there's no pain
Rules are still the same
I'm with you, just lead me
I'm ready to play
T.N.T. for the brain
Don't be scared and have no fear
I will show you what it means
If there's no pain
Rules are still the same
I'm with you, just lead me
I'm ready to play
T.N.T. for the brain
What you feel is insane
It is love and not a game
T.N.T. for the brain

This song is about a passionate and exhilarating connection between two people; it expresses the singer's eagerness to fully engage and explore the depths of their relationship, even amidst uncertainties and challenges.

Explosive to you, sadly.. 3 years of thinking you had special powers. Just not in the bedroom, I guess. I will give you this, though..

3 whole years and I can count on my 2 hands only how many times you were able to bring it home. And you're so f'n dumb if you truly believed you were the only access. He took me to Heaven trillions of times and there was no comparison, EVER. You could not and will not ever even hold a tiny candle. Why? Because God gifted him with an amazing skillset.

I felt duped with...
I felt duped with you.
I'm leading..

Come on, let's play. What are you waiting on. Don't let fear hold you back.

Love as a drug; toxic and addictive yet extremely pleasurable.

There is no way knowing what Michael Cretu actually thought when he wrote it. But for me, it is a story of not allowing the intellect be your guide in life, when it is not appropriate and a door into a different world. Intellect is very OK if you want to solve some mathematical problem or you work with say cars and want to invent new type of brakes etc, but if you misapply it to everyday life you will end up very miserable. And the brain here hosts both intellect and other views of life. Since the intellect thrives on visual and auditive input, here the author states that smelling, touching and love making turns brain into another direction, towards what is much more compatible with happiness. It is sometimes called "grounding" in new age circles and other spiritual or quasi spiritual circles. One might see Eckhart Tolle for more of this explanation, but it's not the only one who speaks about these things... Hope I helped someone by writing this

Love as a drug; can be both toxic and addictive & this makes for the heady and provocative experience of this track’s genius.

What's the meaning of 'T.N.T'?
In simple way: Dynamite
In simple way: Dynamite
Tri Nitro Toluol, an explosive
Tri Nitro Toluol, an explosive

This song makes me think about something that I see a lot of in lyrics from Joy Division and The Cure. It's the craziness of what Robert Smith calls "a stupid game" in Let's Go to Bed - love. There seems to be no sense to it; "I hope I'll understand some day what's the meaning of this crazy game", "what you feel is insane". This song then moves into a part where, as I take it, the speaker is pretending that it does make sense and that that lends him sexual confidence.

I don't think we should assume the actual lyrics of the song are 'TNT for the brain'. They might as well be saying 'DMT for the brain', which sort of makes sense too.

I see this song as a metaphor - both lyrical and melodic [tnt for the BRAAAAAIN!!!] - for the whole "game" of love, but specifically for the orgasm. And yes, the official lyrics ARE indeed TNT [and not DMT], just to clarify.
