Is a GREAT song!!! Is so simple... but so GOOD... Is just about being there for someone even though taught times. Is about a real friendship.

I love this song a lot, but have any of you considered the title of it? 'Poprocks' is a nickname for Ecstasy and 'Coke' is short for cocaine. I prefer to think of it as being nimrod3277's definition, because it's a nice one, but I think the actual meaning is that it's about a person who can count on nothing except drugs which is the only stable point in their life, and drugs are always around for this person in times of need, much like a good friend.

this song sounds to me like its not only about friendship, but them as a band. how they are always going to be there for each other. in the video its all clips of them together and takin photo shoots and stuff so i think its about how billie mike and tre are always gonna be there for each other

This is an awesome song, and if it weren't for the sound of the instruments (and Billie's voice, obviously), I would never have known it was Green Day, it's so unlike the rest of their stuff. Their lyrics are incredibly intelligent for their genre, and while this is a positive, reassuring song, most others of theirs are generally negative, angry, and these days, political.
