Straight To Jail Lyrics
You better wash your hair
but today all my plans are staying in bed
no matter what they say
I'm all wrong
told you this had happened before
You better stay the same
but today all I am is just starting to change
no matter what they say
I'm always wrong
told you this had happened before
If you want to get there
then move on
no one's gonna wait for you
so you better not stay long
no one's gonna wait for you
this is war!
but today all my plans are staying in bed
no matter what they say
I'm all wrong
told you this had happened before
but today all I am is just starting to change
no matter what they say
I'm always wrong
told you this had happened before
then move on
no one's gonna wait for you
so you better not stay long
no one's gonna wait for you
this is war!

For me it's about the moments of feeling low that someone can suffer more or less frequently and that require an unavoidable stage of calm ("Today all my plans are staying in bed") but followed by a reinforced departure that must be carried out quickly so as not to get caught up in sadness ("If you want to get better, then move on!"). And it must be a genuinely personal process ("No one's gonna wait for you), especially in such a competitive society (this is war).
