Unreal Lyrics

Sit back bare your cross to me
Oh won’t I listen
God damn have I burned my hands
On what's been missing
I feel,.. Unreal everytime I try and stop to feel
Pick me up my friend
Let me start again

You fucked with me
Behind this garden
Don’t fuck with me

Long before I could even see
You’re what was missing
Twisting deep inside of me
Forever missing the glistening
I feel,.. Unreal
Everytime I try and stop to feel
Pick me up my friend
Hold closed your hand

Can you see all the clear skin in front of me
Can you see can you see what you wanna see
Can you see there’s a little spot of light in me
Can you see can you tell I’m fuct

Bleeding emotions
Bleed emotions

Sat back gave your soul to me
But did I listen
God damn did I burn my hands
On what was missing, the glistening
I feel,.. Unreal
Everytime I try and stop to feel
Pick me up my friend
Hold closed my hand

You fucked with me
Behind this garden
You fucked with me
Within this garden
Don’t you fuck with me

i agree not every fucking song out there is about god for crying out loud... some of those artist out there could give a rats ass about god and religion

This is a great song. At first I got a very angry impression from it, but less so as I listen to it more.

Might have to do with not being able to feel love when it's there. Maybe he took advantage of someone and realises that he is wrong, wants forgiveness, but he also knows what he is capable of so he cant let them trust him again.

I can't here him saying 'with' in the chorus at all, just "You fucked me", but I'll trust you guys because you know better than I do. It could work either way though.

I reckon the 'garden' is like a garden of Eden metaphor. Lots of religious imagery in Soil lyrics, although he's not necessarily singing about religion, although that said I think this one could be about someone's lack of faith in God. It's mainly the 'burned my hands on what was missing' and 'there's a spot of light in me' lines that make me think that.

This is my favourite song on the album by far.

Oh GOD stop whining on about god. Why do people think every sodding song in the world is about god?

Notice the small g for god.

I agree with ace..Long before I could even see You’re what was missing Twisting deep inside of me Forever missing the glistening I feel,.. Unreal. I think he is talking about loseing his faith in God, and despite the pain it brings he can never have his faith again

i think it is about someone playing with his emotions and then rejecting him personally. I dont beleive it has a christian or an holy point of view. Also Soil isnt religious. But yes he has been rejected and is angry and later in the song is accepted by the girl but this time he is too ignorant to notice. I could be wrong but the lyrics seem to lead towards some kind of a messed relationship and everything going wrong
