Maybe it's about some macho trip. I mean a horse is a pretty virile symbol, and then in the 2nd verse the house that he 'rescue(s)' all his friends from could symbolize the home life, marriage, you know. Then in the 3rd verse seems like he comes off his trip with the help of a 'girl'. So it could be about this guy who just lives like a complete macho asshole for, I don't know how long, a day could be as long as you want it to, and then finally comes to his senses. Maybe?
