i love this song...n i dunno if u agree but i think that its about a girl who is insecure and looks for compliments n guys and needs them to make her feel good and she lies about her age and her life... i also thinks its called the swiss army romance becuase she cuts herself...i think she does this cuz how she acts on the outside is different from how she is inside and by cutting herself shes letting her real self out...i doubt yall agree but thats what i think its about...not fake breasted souless ladies but someone who is just searching for herself and looking for happyness in men
IT'S ALL SO BLATANT. this song is about teenagers trying to look for themselves. they try so hard to convince themselves as well as others that they are permanant. like they know who they are and where they're going in life. everyone would like to know the answer to that question. but how will we know unless we live it? everyday we get close and closer to defining our sense of self. so live for the sake a living!! this song is so good. he writes about the most truthful things. im still a young kid and we have a swarm of these fake breasted ladys who just lost there soul. altho i always end up with one, its still terrible. and also, we are just kids and we have people already doing stuff that i didnt even know about... consdering i (and they) are all too fucking young... well thats wats i got to say bout that

whoa dont know how 2 appeard so sorry about that and ps the girl in this song reminds me of how i used to feel and sometimes still do
yeah this is definately a greta song... my take on it is that it was a first romance gone bad. probably in the sense that whoever this song is written to has changed.. ya know.. sold out... got i hate saying that... but anyway, he sings it like he is so bitter about it and then in the last verse the tempo changes to a more upbeat one and he looks and hopes for the future, whereas before he was just slanderizing the blue jean girl.. besides the obvious fake history part, i see her as having "sold out" when he talks about seeing her undone.. i think he means wthout her makeup and fake friends and history that she is actually a cool girl..my favorite line="Sleep with all the sheets off/baring your mattress/baring your soul"
yeah, this is a really good song. i love dashboard..they make me so sad.
Beautiful song by chris- reminds of the town i live in, everyone is dying to impress everyone, and everyone is dead set on growing up and moving on, while all the while their most precious years are being wasted.
all i have to say is that the end of this song is great and wonderful
