I remember when the "Honkey's Ladder" vid was on MTV, a hundred years ago. I thought that was the end of the Whig's anonymity. I had visions of bandwagon hell. It never happened, though. I guess most people just don't get the Afghan Whigs.

I love this song too! It's the most accessible out of the Whigs' entire catalogue I think, I could almost imagine it being played on commercial radio... almost. It's the sleaziest, sexiest song ever =). Dulli must've been really horny...
I love the Whigs, though I hadn't heard of them until 1999 (hey, I'm in Australia). I'm so insanely jealous of anyone that's seen them live! Greg Dulli is in a class of his own, I worship the man.
