Yeah, he's referring to smoking. Haven't you noticed in songs like "cancer" that he's talking about getting cancer from smoking, not from say...gay sex? It's British slang for a cigarette. Anyways, this is one of my alltime fave Subhumans songs. Everyone can relate to how fucked up the world makes us feel.
The Subhumans are one of my favorite bands. And this is a good song, but The Subhumans don't seem like they'd be homophobs, I don't like the line "Another nervous breakdown another fag" but I dont know, it could just be about someone confused about there sexuality or something.
