i think the song has a lot of meanings. it appeals to the events in the world today too. if it's anything that the world needs now is love and understanding.
Its obvious the song is critcising the world we live in today, with massive wars going on used as an answer to the questions we cannot understand.
Also to me it has a very deep evil and good plus salvation meaning. more than just surface thought. The evil ones are here to destroy us all they hate us humans, thank God for Jesus, AMEN
