I'm sure this song is about a woman special in his life regarding his touring or something like that. But I've found a deeper more personal meaning, in that it was and still is how I felt when I told my girlfriend I was enlisting into the army. Every night I don't get to see her and feel her warmth as I fall asleep, it seems like I'm a million miles away. I just want to get back to her soon as I can, I miss you babe.
