I love this song so much... I feel like the speaker is just asking for peace to love. He has everything he wants "I got more than I can eat A life that can't be beat Yet still I feel this heat " but he still can get what he wants. I like it though- I don't think its that said because its just someone who realizes that all they want is love. Its very peaceful to me.

I think is a song about self love and self acceptance. When too many things happened, it can make you feel confused if what you wanted, actually came from your own will or not so much anymore. Sometimes you tried so hard that is just ok to stop trying, leave things as they are, and focus on what's there and what you feel inside rather than what's coming or not from other people.
