i just listened to this song for the first time in a long time. last time i was seein' blue blue skys. things are different now. i cried. it wasn't a sad cry though, or a happy one either. it was a "you dumbass, ya thought that would last forever didn't you" cry. whatever you out there do. always let love rule.
This song has an undeniable groove to it, it just lifts your spirit. This song is typical of Lenny's, he wants to spread the message for people to love one another more and to stop the hate. It goes along with his Christian beliefs.
I'm not a naturally religious person but this is what Christianity, and any religion for that matter, should be about. It's sad that religions are so easy to twist towards hate and alienation.
As for the song itself, not one of lennys greatest but I never skip it on my playlist .)
Ah you see, religion DOES teach this, it's people that USE religion to make you fear one another, and now we are so turned off to religion, people will not see for themselves anymore. Spirituality should make it's revival clear and proud, and when people see the light of love, humans will transcend the ignorance when they see love brings us as one, our original face.
