This is such a great song!

The overall message is 'you may not like me, but I'm not gonna stop'

I love the Bedtime Stories album because of its funky vibe, and also the fact she's accepting herself and showing us she doesn't care what others think.

Survival is Lady Madonna's most autobiographical life story/art song! In this Ciccone art piece, Madonna will Cry, Live to Tell and Survive the best way she knows how!-no matter what controversy she faces! Madonna has led a beautiful American Life because that Ray of Light for this Beautiful Stranger keeps her going. She ultimately writes "A Little Up, Down and all around-Survival!"-and we somehow believe her!
