When love welcomes we start learning the truth about ourselves. For me romantic love is just a huge distraction from what I believe my true purpose in life is. Maybe it's really about timing...next lifetime?

It seems to me that Madonna's talking about getting "the society approval" by accepting she is a " bad woman" or a woman whose morality is in question and that she'll need to change her personality and her entire way of understanding this world; to be accepted, she needs to be what society wants her to be instead of being herself. So, love tried to welcome her, but, deep inside, she refuses to be accepted because she feels/knows that "feeling acceptance" it's just useless and it's a painful way of living.
