I think this song is more about not worrying about finding Mr. Right. Laying back, looking back at your life, remembering your past loves and thinking "wow...such a wild ride. Emotional drain. But I'd do it all over again...and some day I'll be there". This is THE perfect song after a break-up.

This is such a beautiful song. I think that, even though Madonna had Lola and was very happy, there was also a part of her that was very lonely and very tired of searching for Mr. Right. I think that's what this song is about.
Has to Be from Ray of Light-The best ending of any Madonna album. Simply and sadly beautiful. Looking back, her life is crazy and brilliant-and looking forward, Madonna definitely will do it over again! That's what gives Has to Be it's life, heart and soul.
