Everyone Dies Lyrics
take me back from god,
well i can't sleep,
no one can hear the sound of your heartbreak,
every little thing was on the floor, everyone was so in love with you,
well everyone dies my friend
they come down from outer space,
to blow up all the human race
well everyone dies my friend,
to take em back away from god is all they ever wanted,
well everyone dies my friend,
i can taste the pain you're shoveling,
every word you said, and every little monster,
moons over stardust made me sick,
every word you said, it's all you ever want to give
i can't understand why you can't believe that they're not there,
i can taste the pain you shovel in, pain comes down here,
everyone around you suffocates, i can't see god,
everybody told you not to fall, my hands were tied,
everybody told you not to wait, my brain was fried,
i can feel god.
well i can't sleep,
no one can hear the sound of your heartbreak,
every little thing was on the floor, everyone was so in love with you,
they come down from outer space,
to blow up all the human race
well everyone dies my friend,

I think it's the description of scooter wards thoughts when he was near death from overdosing. "Brain fried" "hands tied" it's the paralysis, near death situation. Another thing that may proove it's drugs is "everybody told you not to fall". Maybe he's not talking about aliens but drugs. He is worried of going to hell after death "I can't see God". It's the final speech to himself when he was sure he'll die. Although everyone loved him, nobody could hear his heartbreak. It's the moment of realization that nobody in the world is above death including him.
um.... aliens invading earth
um.... poop
Yeah, what Humpty said. It's a little story Scooter made up. A guy knows that aliens are coming to invade Earth and kill everyone. He tries to tell people but they all dismiss him as being crazy but then he had the last laugh. I want this song played at my funeral, because it would be pretty funny! lol
It's a decent song for the ears.
haha that is so awesome Harry Manback. that probably the funniest thing ive ever heard
Harry Manback u crzy motherfucker that wuz awesome! U want this song played at ur funeral cuz it's called Everyone Dies, that's a good 1, kinda wierd, but awesome. ROCK ON COLD!!!!!
Hmmm, i always thought it was bout somethin deeper than aliens, especially since it talks about God so much
From songfacts.com:
"This is a depressing song about our own mortality. When lead singer Scooter Ward thinks he is about to pass away, he can finally see God as he suffocates (as we all do when we die.)"
That's just another interpretation, though as it was submitted by a fan.
